So i completed the auroville half marathon. Yea. Two issues:
1. This was over a month ago
2. After that my body deceived me into taking off for 3 weeks
Now training is on and off. So one of my goals - not missing training for more than 2 consecutive days is broken :)
I will keep at it and go for it.
Meanwhile i started training in Vibrams - it is very interesting. My calf hurts big time with vibrams. I googled around and figured this is natural - you start avoiding running using the heel and start using the ball of the feet. There are, thus, muscles that you havent exercised before that are coming to the forefront. The good news is that the short run saw me covering a km in around 6:30 which is very good for me (almost my 10k best). I want to try for a few more days and see how it goes
